In addition to its Scandinavian-chic furniture and lighting, the Danish label Muuto also has a wide range of accessories in its product range - for all objects by designer Lars Tornøe. The Dots wall hooks are now available in a wide range of sizes, colours and materials, adding a monochrome and/or colourful combination to every room. The Restore Storage Baskets by Mika Tolvanen also ensure order. The stylish baskets are available in countless colours and yet all are green: Tolvanen's Restore series is made entirely from recycled plastic bottles! In addition to practical storage accessories for the lobby & hallway, Muuto also has a number of extraordinary mirrors such as the Mimic Mirror by Jean-François Dingjian & Eloi Chafaï a.k.a Normal Studio, premiered in 2018 and which brings French flair in the portfolio of the Scandinavian manufacturer. The Framed Mirror by Anderssen & Voll is with its metal frame and the partially coloured glass hardly distinguishable in its appearance from an art work.

Scandinavian Design Reimagined: Vases by Muuto

Muuto's vases combine Scandinavian craftsmanship with contemporary, sculptural design. The Kink Vase, designed by Earnest Studio, is particularly striking on account of open ended U-shape, while the contrast between the matte exterior and glossy interior glaze lends it a particularly elegant look, making it a real eye-catcher even without flowers. The Ridge Vase, from Kaksikko design studio, meanwhile impresses with its fine grooved structure and a functional notch that serves as a handle and also provides stability. The Ridge Vase is also available in an elegant glass version as the Ridge Glas, which further emphasises its clear design language and creates a particularly light, transparent effect. Both vases are not only functional, but also expressive design objects that perfectly embody Muuto's claim to reinterpret everyday objects.
